Community members
Each member is different from others, made visible by the way each interact in social networks. These interactions indicate where members' interests can be identified. It also provides indicators for topics of priority. From this starting point, information can be draw from trusted network sources. The sources should have a validation network that maintains the information does not change and is always available. And the trust in these sources is defined by the community members instead of being dictated to community members.
AI plugs into community
The highest priority is that AI does not build a training set on second-hand knowledge, and not gained from infringement of copyright. How can this be done? Public ledgers and social networks exist that allow for anonymizing the entire collection to collection transacting process. The high correlation between these sources and community members' interests define the training sets of the AI. This means AI is defined as a plurality so that each community member has an AI companionship of their own interest.
While this might sound expensive, no information source worth utilization can be totally free and adhere to copyright rules. However, this can be affordable, less expensive and more entertaining than the subscriptions already held by community members. More on this in later posts.
AI plugs into blockchain
Although uses of blockchain have an unusual past, the eventual better use cases have bubbled to the top and are now available for reputable use. Instead of diving too deeply into blockchain here, just check out this excellent overview on the technology:

Which provide a safe way to build anonymous associations to the development of community members' personal AI companions. The bottom line: blockchain offers a way to transact with unchanging information stores, which also build a trusted link to gain permission to copyright sources. This transaction is even possible between to complete strangers while protecting both. More on how this will be achieved in later posts!
It is not perfect (but it is pretty good)
A companion AI is more like a companion pet than a boss. The intent is for fun and quality of life. These things are directed by the individual. From time to time this may require course correction. However, the times of course correction should be easy as conversation with intelligent friends. Home end-point possible applications are endless!
